Jakarta. MINI Indonesia today announced that the new MINI Clubman is now available. With a precisely-modified design, an extended selection of innovative equipment features, and the latest technology in the areas of operation and connectivity, the new MINI Clubman hones its profile as a stylish individualist in the premium compact segment.

Ride comfort, space and variability define the all-round properties of the new MINI Clubman. With four side doors and five seats, including a versatile luggage compartment behind the two split doors at the rear, customers are ensured a high degree of functionality and the kind of creative use of space that is characteristic of MINI. What’s more, customers get to choose between 2 available variants of the new MINI Clubman – the Cooper and Cooper S variants.

Expressive and powerful: new distinctive design.

The body design of the new MINI Clubman is stylish, individual and exclusive. Signature aspects of its distinctive proportions include a powerfully domed bonnet and circular headlamps with chrome surrounds (Piano Black for Cooper S) at the front of the car, as well as a dynamically elongated roof line and a steep rear. The split doors consisting of two laterally opening wings make the new MINI Clubman the only model in the compact segment to offer six doors, along with outstanding versatility – the car’s luggage compartment can be extended from 360 litres to a maximum of 1,250 litres.

The most striking design feature of the new MINI Clubman is the newly-designed radiator grille which now extends across the entire bumper. With powerfully-modelled contours and a new structure for the air inlet, it gives the front view a particularly distinctive appearance. The radiator grille is bordered by a slim frame produced from a single piece. The air inlet is separated into six horizontal struts in black, which can be optionally upgraded to a chrome version. On the MINI Cooper S Clubman, specific features in the front section include the hexagonal grid pattern, the individual chrome strut in the air inlet, as well as a red “S” emblem.

Fresh look with LED technology, new body finishes, and light alloy wheels.

The characteristic front look of the new MINI Clubman is also a result of the modified design of the circular headlamps. The standard LED headlights feature a new design with LED modules for low and high beam and a shield in black finish. A white ring of light surrounding the headlamps serves both as a daytime driving light and turn indicator. LED fog lights are also available as standard – these take the place of the standard parking lights.

The new MINI Clubman is also fitted with LED rear lights as standard. The light units with chrome surround are especially integrated in the wings of the split door. The rear lights feature a horizontally-oriented design that underscores the brand’s British origins: the graphic structure of their light sources traces the abstracted pattern of the Union Jack. With its striking lines, the flag motif provides a distinctive form of identification – both during the day and in terms of night design. The brake light is now also generated from this newly-designed light unit.

In terms of body finishes, two new colour choices are available – the new MINI Clubman is now available in Indian Summer Red metallic or British Racing Green metallic. As an alternative to the body colour, customers may choose to have the roof and exterior mirror caps of their new MINI Clubman finished in black or white. The Cooper S variant additionally features the Piano Black Exterior package where the surrounds of the headlights, rear lights and radiator grille are finished in high-gloss black.

Depending on the model variant, the new MINI Clubman is fitted as standard with light alloy wheels, either 17 inches or 18 inches in size, with run-flat tyres. The following is a summary of the standard fit wheels:

Latest Generation of MINI TwinPower Turbo Engines with Dual Clutch Transmission.

The engine portfolio for the new MINI Clubman includes two 3-cylinder and two 4-cylinder petrol engines, each featuring the latest generation of MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology. A 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch is fitted as standard on the MINI Cooper Clubman, while the MINI Cooper S Clubman is fitted with the 7-speed Steptronic sports transmission.

A stylish and modern interior.

Five full-sized seats and convenient access translates to plenty of space for all occupants in the new MINI Clubman. The Cooper variants sport a Cloth/Leatherette upholstery, as well as the MINI Yours Interior Style package in Piano Black illuminated – features include illuminated door bezels along with the all-round cockpit bezel, while the cockpit trim and centre console trim elements are designed to harmonise in matching colours. The new MINI Cooper S Clubman sports a MINI Yours Walknappa Leather Sports Steering Wheel and seat upholstery in the form of MINI Yours Walknappa Leather Lounge in Carbon Black. The seats are extravagantly adorned with a Union Jack motif on the headrests which is applied with precisely positioned perforations. Particularly exclusive accentuations are also provided by the MINI Yours Interior Styles in Frozen Blue illuminated. Offering a scenic view of the sky is the Panoramic Sunroof that comes as standard for the new MINI Cooper S Clubman.

The standard range of equipment in the new MINI Clubman includes an audio system with six speakers and a USB socket, enabling audio streaming via a Bluetooth connection. There is also a hands-free telephone facility with USB interface, as well as the Radio MINI Visual Boost including a high-resolution 6.5-inch central display. Parking is aided by a Rear-View camera and the rear Park Distance Control system, which is fitted as standard in all variants of the new MINI Clubman. The new MINI Cooper S Clubman also includes Navigation with voice-guided directions and Apple CarPlay as standard. In addition, the MINI Cooper S Clubman also boasts an exclusively-customised 12-Speaker Harman Kardon Sound System which offers powerfully-precise bass and peak sound quality.

Individual style for retrofitting: MINI Original Accessories.

Attractive new features are also available as part of the extensive range of MINI Original Accessories. These high-quality retrofit options enable functionality, convenience, riding fun and individual style to be adapted even more precisely to personal preferences in the new MINI Clubman. The latest additions to the programme include side scuttles, exterior mirror caps and the Night Jack roof design, which features the graphic of the British flag in a striking black and grey finish. Furthermore, selected design features in brilliant Piano Black give the new MINI Clubman a discreet, sporty look. This jet-black finish is offered for the “Clubman” and “Cooper S” inscriptions, as well as for the MINI logo on the bonnet and at the rear.
